The following images were taken on Thursday 25th July 1996. They were taken by my Dad on his Olympus Trip 35 camera. This was the same camera that captured the majority of the images from my childhood. Two days after these images were taken my Dad had a brain haemorrhage. This event changed our lives and defined our futures ever after. As time passes these Photographs have remained. We look back on them fondly as facts or documents, but they also present many possibilities. At one point, we know the people in the photographs and what they went on to become in the present. However, at the same time, due to the impending event, the children in these photographs never lived out the life intended for them.
The locations in these photographs and the photographs themselves are re-visited by my Father and I in the 'Back to Betws' project.
